Import
In order to clear your air/sea shipment from the Customs Authority it is necessary present them with the following:
1. Power of Attorney giving the Ocean broker the authority to represent you and act on your behalf.
2. Customs Declaration that lists the items those are eligible for customs duties.
3. Copy of your passport (the page with the picture) or Israeli identification card or Foreign Passport.
All unaccompanied cargo, imported to Israel must go through customs. Consultation and guidance regarding customs issues are given free of charge.
Export
Customs Procedures – Please forward to our office prior to packing:
1. Copy of passport:
Please photocopy all of the pages of your passport with I.D. details.
If you have an Israeli passport, copy of the first page only.
If you were a new immigrant and released Duty-Free items during the last 6 years, please photocopy all the pages in Your “Teudat Oleh”
2. A declaration to the Collector of Customs that you and\or your spouse did or did not use any New Immigrant \ Returning Israeli Duty-Free rights. (form CDC\3)
If you have used any Duty-Free rights during the past 6 years: B/1 (working visa) / New Immigrant /Returning Israeli, – please photocopy all pages of passport or “Teudat Oleh” (new immigrant’s booklet). Please note that everything that was imported on Duty-Free basis, must be taken out of Israel or duties are to be paid.
3. Please fill out the date and sign the Power of Attorney.
4. A clear copy of all documentation required by the country of destination including scanned copies of visas /work permit etc.
All of these documents are needed for customs procedures in Israel.
Any delay in receipt of the above may result in the delay of customs procedures and the export of the goods.
